About Real del Monte
The Mineral del Monte has an area of about 7,200 hectares. North with Omitlán Linda Juarez, south to Mineral de la Reforma and Pachuca de Soto, the east and the west with Epazoyucan with Atotonilco Chico. The municipality is composed of the cebecera "Real", the neighborhoods of Tezontla-place of stones, San Pedro Huistotitla-Glen-Acosta, Escobar, names of miners who exploited these estates, Rufina, Pueblo Nuevo. The weather is cold, rainy and cloudy constant. It is common to see fog in the Real.
History.
Mineral del Monte is a city and seat of the homonymous municipality in the state of Hidalgo, in central Mexico. The city has a tradition of cooking pastes, is famous for its silver mines and significant influx of tourists. It has a population of 25,000 inhabitants.
In times of the Viceroyalty was given the name of Real to be under the dominion of the Spanish crown, and Mount to be surrounded by mountains, for this reason is best known as Real del Monte.
